10 years tattooing looking to move

7 messages · last activity 6/12/2004

I have 9 years shop experience and am looking to relocate my family to a warmer place. I have an extensive portfolio(featured on Tattoonow.com) and have experience in both street and all custom shops.I am currently working at Sfumato Tattoo in Ithaca NY and Bruce Bart Tattooing in Tannersville NY on weekends. Would love to work in a creative atmosphere and I don't carry any drama where I work!View my work at Sfumato-tattoo.com James
I can tell you that James Speirs work is great, and he is one of the nicest tattooists you will have the pleasure of working with. Fantastic fellah, any studio would be lucky to have him working there. No baggage at all, 100% on the ball and with it. Treats customers and co-workers with the respect they deserve!
hey man, you ever thought about buying a shop for your own and making all the $$$$ instead of paying someone else that daily cut? If so drop me a line.
tell me more about what you have in mind. of course i've thought about it but having the capital to open another shop in an already flooded market dosn't do anybody any good.
are you interested in relocating (florida). if so we would be interested in talking to you.
james was very profesional when he was doing some work for me. i went back to him again and again. drove over 40 miles cause he is a talented artist. good luck james! i hope i can get another one in before ya leave. james also seems to be dedicated to his family and over all has good character. myk - king of hearts x binghamton x ny
Just a quick update on my new situation... I have recently opened a brand new studio called Model Citizen where I am doing all custom work as well as air brushing and graphic design. the shop also sells fine art prints , most signed, by some pretty well known artists. all from a personal collection. Any one interested can contact me at 607-277-2108 or come to Ithaca NY and find 600 hancock st. Thanks for all the positive feedback, and Kudos to Tattoonow!
