....
Yeah, I'll do a logo... would love to... Would love to have sleeveless shirts for this too... Maybe can do a little bulk buy... Would like to see about 50 people to start with for this thing, and turn it into some kind of "Burning Man" type style deal with several hundred, or thousand people eventually. Some kind of Counter-culture festival....
Also, would be good of people could actually GET tats with some of ya guys while they are out there....
Maybe a good idea would be to set up a thread now where everyone who would SERIOUSLY consider coming to this thing can add their name... see what you are dealing with here....
I have an idea! We are going to need an "honorary" group. Perhaps since this being the inception of the "1st Annual Nightcrawlers Tazfest" the founding members of this not-so-secret society should be offically inducted. And then in the following years to come more people would be inducted based off of criteria that can be discussed at a later time. It's kinda the group-within-the-group type thing. And to throw a name into the hat for this select few, I think "The Dark & Dirties" would be appropriate.... Give me some feed back on this.
50 people?...Al you gotta be kiddin...I already just TODAY have gotten rsvp s from over a HUNDRED...at the last party we stopped counting at 350!!! So get ready for a WILD ride!!!! Jason...you have a good idea...YOU can be in charge of the organizational aspect man...you just volunteered!! Oh Yeah...AL...although there can be no tattoing at the party itself...if any artists wishes they can contact me in advance and I will set them up with a temporary state license and they can tattoo at my shop....that do it?...I know there will be some heavyweights in attendance but sometimes even tattoo artists just wanna party with the "normal" folk!! Lets DO DIS!!!!...NIGHTCRAWLERS FOREVER!!!
By the way AL ...I am thinkin of a Dark Carnival, gothic horror type theme if that helps!!!...T
Hey Taz I hope you use that angel i drew for ya! It'd be kick ass to see that on a few shirts... Thats all i ask!! ...I'm just sayin

Its all good Unc! I'm just glad you liked it. Should we bring portfolios and stuff when we come through?
MarioJ! Hey, I need some help throwing around some ideas for the "Dark and Dirties"? You want to get in on this?
this sounds like it will be one crazy night! / weekend! I would love to say count me in, but there are just to many factors that could make me miss it at this point in the game... I am gonna keep it in mind, and see what I can do! Who knows, I may get sent over to Afghanistan by that time! (If I do, I promise to be partying over there for ya!) Lets see what happens.... Baker sendz..................
Well Baker I hope you can make it and I pray you NEVER make it to afganistan...what a shit hole!! I will keep in touch pal!...T

mm we used to live in lancaster PA and her parents still do and i think it took them 11 or 12 hours to get her via chicago(btw were in iowa) and then on to 80 west i do belive for about another 6 hours to st.joe let us know if your going maybe we canstart a caravan(god i hate bein dislexik)
crash test dummy, Thanks for the invite! We'll have to see what happens...I have yet to talk to my husband about this so we'll see. If we could manage to take only 1 or 2 days off of work it might be doable for us. I think it would be a hoot! I'll definitely let you know! Dana
Mario, Came up with the idea for the "Dark and Dirties" as an honorary group for the Nightcrawlers. So I am going to start putting some ideas together for logos, t-shirts, etc. But I am trying to pull some ideas together for any criteria that would potentally be used to nominate individuals.... So basically I am at the very begining of this. Any ideas, bro?.... ANYONE else, please feel free to throw some thoughts my direction. You can either post to this thread or email me. The addy is up top. The more thoughts and ideas the better! This should end up being one kick ass ordeal! Thanks....J

UPDATE!!!!! First band to sign on...RITUAL FIXX...a kick ass metal band from Wisconson is the first band to sign up for TAzfest!...These guys stomp ass!!!...Check em out at wwmyspace.com/ritualfixx.
WooWhoooo!!!! We are so stoked! But TAz honey, we are from Iowa. Don't be hatin :) We already put the shows on our site. Thank you for asking us....I will save a big kiss for ya. Angela P.S. I am also looking forward to getting the hooker. Make sure she is disease free..or if she has one make sure they make a med to get rid of it.... What?
You will have to excuse our dear Taz for his mind wonders to-and-fro now and then.... Why just the other day we walked into the shop and found him half naked dancing with a broom stick with what appeared to be a stuffed donkeys head attached to it. When we asked him what he was doing he proclaimed in his best Nathan Lane that, "I am the last of the great exotic burlesk dancers!" He then offered to show us his assests, screamed, "MAKE-UP!", and then Fossied his way towards the back room where we found him hours later naked, in an upright fetal possition, and unable to coherantly speak....
Did I say Wisconson?...Duh!!! I am an IDIOT!! Sorry...just been talkin to so many people...Forgive me Toots? I am stoked too baby!!...Can't wait...we play your cd constantly!! See ya in October!...TAz
Ok guys we gotta get a hooker for Angela from Ritual Fixx (from IOWA!) Nevermind...we can just grease Jwerk up, throwm him into her hotel room and hope he doesn't scream too loud!! But Angela dear you gotta clean up yer own bodies Ya hear? Ready Jason?... MUAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
OH HELL YA!!!! I don't mind being taught a trick or two! Hell, she can show me three if she wants!
The cleaning up part can be a mess...but hey, it's not like it's the FIRST time...*cough*
And as long as you dont mind the "American Psycho" treatment... well...need I say more?

Sweet! I'll even bring the Genesis album!
You bring the Genesis and I'll bring the coat hanger!
I'm Paul. My name is Paul 0wen, have you got that? You are Christie. You are to respond only to Christie. Is that clear?
Do you like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that I really didn't understand any of their work. It was too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think "Invisible Touch" is the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility, at the same time it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship and sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Take the lyrics to "Land of Confusion." In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problem of abusive political authority. "In Too Deep" is the most moving pop song of the 1980s about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I've heard in rock. Phill Collins solo efforts seem to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying in a narrower way, especially songs like "In the Air Tonight" and "Against All Odds."But I also think that Phill Collins works better within the confines of the group than as a solo artist-and I stress the word artist. This is "Sussudio," a great, great song, a personal favorite.....
Genesis is for needle dick sissies!
Taz, don't make me tell everyone that you secretly listen to "Tatu"...Oops!
Did you know that Whitney Houston's debut LP, called simply Whitney Houston had 4 number one singles on it? It's hard to choose a favorite among so many great tracks, but "The Greatest Love of All" is one of the best, most powerful songs ever written about self-preservation, dignity. Its universal message crosses all boundaries and instills one with the hope that it's not too late to better ourselves. Since, it's impossible in this world we live in to empathize with others, we can always empathize with ourselves. It's an important message, crucial really. And it's beautifully stated on the album. I have to return some videotapes....
Boy J-werk, you really do have your shit together! Duke is one of the greatest Genesis records ever! I bought that fucker at the end of 1979, and haven't stopped listening to it since. TCE
We better stop now...people aren't getting the joke...
...................of course, the South Park depiction of PC has been a pretty accurate assessment of everything since then. TCE
And TAz, Well, you got me pegged there! TCE
Tim... I had you at hello!
Taz, remember the song we stopped working on? I was messing around with it tonight in the music room here at work. I changed one simple thing and it flows SOOOOO much better. We are going to have to pick that one back up. I feel like playing with fun toys again!!!
Me TOO!!...I just got out the Les Paul and the stack and played til my fingers bled!...Coincidence or fate? I'm ready...been actually doin some keyboard writing too!Whats it been 2-3 months since we recorded that song?I barely remember it man...T
Oh hell at least that! I think we got to a stalemate on that damn thing and burned ourselves out. That and we had a bitch of a time laying down the drum tracks cause of the little one and Taj's nap times.... i was going to mess around with it some more now that I got home but i broke a string! DDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTT!!!!!!!
