4 hour tattoo and serious infection

I had a tattoo on my left forearm which took 4 hours. I have many tattoo's but this one was steady leaking afterwards and needless to say I went to the hospital. I'm curious to know if 4 hours could have caused me to lose to much plasma ?

its norm to leak subcutainious fluid even for a day or 2.drink lots of watre and keep it clean and cared for ya should do fine.
