9th tat

I got a tat yesterday, it was a cover up. its a chinese symbol, its on my ankle right on the bone so i knew it would hurt worse than my others but about 3hrs after i got it it was so painful and throbing that when i got up to walk i barely could. now today it is red and hot the tat looks HORRIBLE!!!! all clinics are closed today. do you think i should go to the er today or wait and go to my pcp tomorrow?

Around that area that type of swelling is very common for a tattoo of that length. Especially if you had a heavy handed artist. Take some over the counter medicine for the pain and swelling.
