I was wondering if anybody here has been tattooed by Adrian? I would love to get work done by him in the future, but was wondering if he's a hard guy to get an appointment with? He seems to be doing very large work lately and I'd like to get half sleeves done, but didn't know if he's at the point where he rarely takes on new clients or it's just a matter of getting on the waiting list and being patient. I imagine his wait list is up there at this point, but I'd be flying from the East Coast and it wouldn't be for about another year or two - but I figured I'd throw it out there and see if anybody else has gotten work done by him and could give some advice. I might need to get the ball rolling a little bit sooner than i figured. Thanks!
I haven't been tattooed by him,but would assume he's pretty booked. Have you called to inquire about his schedule? You should also check out www.marcuspacheco.com You might have a better chance to get in with him. Cory Kruger also does excellent work, and he's on the east coast. www.krugertattoos.com Phil Holt used to work with Adrian, and is real good too. www.redletter1.com
Id get tattooed by Adrian in a minute. I hear he is very hard to get an appointment with, but as with all artists who are very hard to get an appointment with, polite persistence and patience will do wonders... All of the previous recommendations are also top notch. Thanks for sticking around (for years!) joetat! Maybe we will meet someday...?
Hey Gabe,i got nowhere to go anyway..I also enjoy the process of looking for artists to recommend to people..Yeah,i'm sure will meet at one of these conventions someday..I'm going to the Philly convention at the end of March..Hope to make it out to some on the west coast too.
I have not called to ask about his schedule yet - figured I'd see if anybody on the boards would have experience getting tattooed by him or the inside scoop. He must be a hard guy to get ahold of and tattooed by, since Mr. Pacheco was recommended as an alternative contact :). Last I heard he was virtually impossible to get a session with. I know some tattooers only take on certain clients/projects they want to tattoo and only if it's large work like full sleeves or backs and I figured Adrian might be among that crowd. Thanks for the insight and I'll get in touch with him (or at least try) soon.
Hehe, joetat is one of the reasons why I havent posted here in ages, because we dont need two people recomending artists if one can handle it ;) And also I am too busy :( Or :) Depending on the day Great job dude! Keep it up
