after lotions

is it ok 2 use vaseline 100% pure petroleum for a moisturizure or will it fade the color?????

It's much better to use a plain, white lotion like Lubriderm or Curel... Or, even better yet, H2Ocean Tattoo Aftercare.

DO NOT USE VASELINE! It's way too thick and won't allow the skin to breathe at all. I wouldn't particularly recommend H2Ocean myself, however I've had good success with something like aquaphor or lubriderm. Whatever you use just make sure you use very small amounts. It should be enough to moisturize i, but your tattoo should never look greasy, shiney, or anything else indicating there's too much stuff on there.
