Molly, I'm relatively new to this forum as well, but something you'll probably notice is that even though this is a tattoo site, more time is spent trying to keep people from making lifelong mistakes than talking them into it. If you find the thread about Dirty Skin and cover ups, TAz made a poignant (sniffle) comment about seeing the tears in someones eyes as he covered up a tattoo that was initially done to signify a relationship recently gone south. I know that you didn't say anything about getting a name or something to directly signify your bond with your man, but later on, if your relationship doesn't end up to be for life, the mark on his body that you talked him into getting will be there forever. That's why I say it's better to guide him into the enviroment, and then let him decide to do it himself. Of course, being supportive carries no guilt......................... TCE

*clearing throat and standing up straight* SIR, I knew that someone would say that because tattoos are very personal and a person who wants to get one should look long and hard at exactly what he or she wants, then after months of research he or she should find an artist and think about the design some more. No one else should pressure someone into getting something permanent on his or her body, SIR. *sits down sheepishly*

Taz......My minds made up...I don't do the whole flying thing....i'm gonna make a road trip out of it....I checked it out on mapquest and it'll take me 20 hours to get there provided I can mamage to follow the map directions accurately...I'm down for it though...I gotta do somethin...and if this is the only way to meet up in person with you then I'M THERE!!! Legacy, I wouldn't worry about following Mapquest, it's only right a percentage of the time. Get you a good old fashioned Rand McNally road atlas to go with it just to make sure. Nothing sucks more than only having a piece of the big picture when you have no idea where you are in the grand scheme of things. TCE

I would love to go to this. I am also a newbie to this site and like Molly I would like lead my husband into the tattoo world. I don't want to talk him into getting one, but I would like him to at least understand it and maybe love it like I do. Who knows maybe if we go and he meets different types of people with tattoos he might like it more.

This get together is happening Sunday July 2, NITEMARE TATTOO in Westfield,MA noon-midnight..... Please come on down Taz and anyone else. It is the ART ATTACK 3.We have a 4000 sq. ft. studio and gallery. We are fifteen minutes from Gabe's. Got tattooed by Joshua there recently and have an appt. w/ Nikko. Anyway the crew will be here. Krystof,Canman,Gabe, and many others. We had about 150 last year. Lots of great art was produced and lots of stuff was consumed!!!!!!!!!
