for all you wannabes that think that you got it figured out and that prof artist jus sit up in the air with their nose pointed up this is for you,and those that have bought some crap kit and tattooing your buds cause you could draw a taz in the third grade,STOP!stop before you ruin someones life.true proff.artist are proff. because they have put in the alot of time,tons of effort, and emptied thier pockets to learn and understand this craft. they know how to adjust thier machines to do what they want,they can make thier own needles and pigment. they dont have to rely or come on these boards for answer because they did it the right way.for most of you ,you have no clue how your equiptment runs,what makes it do certain things and why its not running. if you post shit like that then why would you think you'd be taken seriously? there was a time when this art form was serious to those who did it and you couldnt jus buy some shit equipment and start hacking people. that is the sad part of this industry,that all of us who keep striving everyday to get better and better and tattooing is all we do or know, have to be bombarded by fucking shit work coming from people who got it all figured out and think this craft is so easy. look at whos good in the industry,the ones people are talking about most .take one of thier pics and then set it up beside yours. look at it! your no where close. sorry , but your friends are wrong.people as a whole dont know good from bad.most people couldnt tell the difference between a good ,solid tattoo and a hack job. thats why good ,knowledgable artist are here and needed. its sad that you have a place to come to and ask these questions.if you cant prove atleast a shop job status ,you shouldnt even be allowed to post anything. even though most shops now are jus full of scratchers and hacks that couldnt get a job nowhere else so they jus open up. for all the stupid post on this forum...if you bought a kit and cant run your machines,or if you cant get a solid line in the skin,etc., if you cant afford the very essentials like a autoclave, an autoclave for gods sake! the first thing you shoulda bought!! then FUCK OFF and STOP TATTOOING. you have no clue what your doing. for you that think "ahh man i jus bought my kit and now im an artist", your not . your a hack and your work shows it. if you cant get an apprentiship at a reputable tattoo shop anywhere near you and you cant move,travel,etc. then guess what,you dont get to tattoo. sorry, we all cant be everything we want to be. an apprenticeship in a reputable shop by reputable artist is a must,not a maybe. learn the correct techniques and gain the knowledge that it takes to be able to provide a clean solid beautiful work of art. everyone wants the quick class and quick buck and thats the problem here. this art like all other art forms are not easy and fast. i will argue this all day as i know i'm right and have done it the right way. you wannabes will continue to do what you do because you dont have the common sense or intelligence to understand why your a hack.keep being a bunch of disease spreading,skin scarring,ignorant , kitchen wizards. your not good in any aspect of the trade.

hey yep, If you want to keep to audience this message is directed to's interest try paragraphs and capitol letters were they are supposed to be placed. Scratchers usually have a hard enough time hearing advice as it is. All awesome points and hopefully a therapeutic message to the world for you.

My work is solid. Its good ole solid street shop tattooing. I'm not setting the world on fire but i can do a nice tattoo, and yes i do get irritated at all the hacks. I figure'd if they can ask stupid ass questions on here then i can call'em fucking morons. It's simple english guy,wether it's structured right or not. If you can't read it ,I can suggest some places for you to learn how to read and write.

Thanks Gabe. I know i coulda worded it better but i think its clear enough to get what i was meaning. Its jus ridiculous to see so many people that have no clue ,on the forums and that come into the shop everyday. Respecting your craft comes from the dedication,sacrafice,yerning to learn all you can,and just loving the art form and process that creates that art. Just to many assholes that have no respect for this craft,but yet want me to treat them as tattoo artist. There are so many post on this forum with the stupidest questions and some entertain these morons with half baked and uninformed answers. It's really a sad time for tattooing i think. i love the art but the mystic and energy gets drained out of it sometimes because of this influx of scratchers and hacks. Although when your in it for the right reasons you can really see the overwhelming skill of some of the worlds great ones. They put the energy back in it for me and make me strive to do better work. The post was really just so when they read it that somewhere in the back of their lil minds they know I'm talking directly to them,and they know who they are.

Ok i'd bet that you truelly are a good tattoo artist but one thing that i'll never agree with is how Most artist in this industry say that it is "Over saturated" . So if its over saturated MOST wont be lucky enough to get an apprenticeship.There are soo many amazing,talented tattoo artist out there that Have Started in there kitchens,or dining rooms,bedrooms,bathrooms etc..Hell i'd bet you started at your house in the very beginning.I sure did//And i was lucky enough to have had two amazing mentors throughout my learning.If you want to learn how to skateboard are you going to go to a camp to be taught first and properly,,or are you going to pick that motherfucker up and go in the street and learn?Yes i agree that buying a kit on ebay when you cant even trace a drawing is a very bad idea..But why be held back if you do it on your own...? If your good at somthing...it shouldnt matter if your self taught,mentored,youtube taught,schooling..etc...In the end its what you can produce that makes you who you are as an artist.As far as keeping peoples out of the industry..if your good at what you do..your clientele will continue to come back..Gotta want it more than the next guy.
