am i rejecting the ink?

I got a new tattoo 3 days ago and it seemed to be healing well but then it got a layer on the top of it that just looked dried and raised even though i was putting unscented lotion on it. pieces of that top layer are coming off as if it was peeling but under it is moist ink coming out of it. i have one other tattoo that i got at a different shop and this did not happen with it i dont know what i did wrong! could it be that Im allergic to the ink and my body is trying to reject it? should i let it dry out before continuing with lotion?

pretty vauge on descrption here sounds like ya may be putting too much lotion on cut application in half. also color what color are we talking 80 % of people have reaction of some kind to red just keep clean and apply lotion VERY THIN COAT cpl time a day. any further questions e mail me best of luck
