I am very interested in learning how to tattoo. I draw pretty well, and i'm practicing more and more every day. I feel that it's possible that I can do this, but not sure. I'd much rather find an apprenticeship somewhere...if anyone will let me work with them, that would be so great!
Do you know of any schools in Rhode Island or S.E. Mass? Do you know of any apprenticeship opportunities in Rhode Island or S.E. Mass?
Thank you all so much.

Stay away from these "schools" at any cost. They make many promises to turn you into a professional tattoo artist in a very short time and the truth is, it is impossible to learn what you need to know in such a short amount of time. An apprenticeship is the way to go and although I don't know any of the places in that part of the state if they're looking for an apprentice or not, I do suggest that you keep plugging at it if your art and desire is as good as you say. Do you have any images of your work online for viewing? Also, at the top of the forum, there is a sticky called "aspiring artists, want to learn to tattoo?" Click on that as well.

Can we see some pics of your artwork? And Taz is 100% correct, tattoo school cant teach you like a professional artist taking you under their wing.
