any suggestions

ive recently been travelling around the world, halfway through i got dumped by my gf. Ive never been strong enough todo something like this myself, and i was 29,000m from my home,friends and family with no money and homeless. 2 options, carry on or go home. To me it was a big decision and the easier option was to go home but i carried on and ended up experiencing things that changed me and my life forever. i want a tattoo that reminds me of my personal strength and reminds me to never give up. open to any suggestions be they objects/proverbs etc cheers

One of the most prominate tattoos symbolizing what you are looking for is the traditional japanese koi fish swimming up stream. I believe it symbolizes perseverence.... (Koi facing down stream symbolizes good luck...or do i have it backwards?....shit.... I'm having a moment.) I agree with Werk. I have a very cool somebody working on something for me to symbolize perserverance.... check out what werk said... he's got it pretty straight. In any event, what a great story!! Go talk to a custom guy and tell him about the countries you were in... I'm sure something great will come out of this. This has the makings of a good story...Maybe a whole sleeve symbolizing a lot of things that happened on a journey!!
