ok, so im 17 and im thinking of getting a tattoo when im 18. I have picked out a potential design i want but now im stuck because im not really sure how to approach the whole "researching" situation...any pointers? and does anyone know any liscenced amazing tattoo places in Seattle? also, once it heals it wont affect playing a contact-sport will it? thanks! Lauren
What type of design? I bet you want to go to damon conklin.
Libraries, and book stores are good places to start. And tattooers usually have books on various subjects.i was in seattle in april, there's some good tattooers there.I really liked Colin's work. His site is www.cotattoo.com He is also a really nice guy.And check out www.bafaro.com www.supergeniustattoo.com www.apocalypsetattoo.com They do some nice realistic work.www.artcorestudios.com www.slavetotheneedle.com www.anchortattoo.com Curtis does nice traditional work, and also a nice guy.and www.libertytattooseattle.com I like to go to all the shop's,and look at portfolios, and meet the artists to see if i feel comfortable with the person.
this is what i want: if the pic didnt show, then go to this site: http://www.starving-artists.net/galleries/dawson/gd08--tiger.jpg what im looking for is a really good realistic black and grey artist. also, thanks for the suggestions! I'll check them out! Lauren
If your looking for realistic Black and gray in the Seattle area, you should find Benjamin Moss at Apocolypse tattoo. http://apocalypsetattoo.com Good luck... JOE
I second that. Ben does some real sick tattoos. I tried to get him on the site once. Theres not enough time in the day!
