I own thousands of dollars worth of arylic paints, concentrated color pigments in every color imaginable and produced in inks paints oils water color. Can't imagine spending over thousand US dollars more for tattooing inks when would want large bottles in 100 hues. What if anything is wrong with useing pigments like these acrylics as long as no oil bases are used. If there is problem then what are safe alternative artstore products. Pros use drawing inks, talenz, pelican, india inks etc...? Where can you buy dry pigment sets and mix with water, glycerine etc like old timers did some still do? Can you mix dry product into colors for safe glow in the dark effect. Where can I buy bulk pigment? Thanks in advance! I'm setting up shops in latin america, are there any good supplies equipment bought in bulk? Unimax seems quality? Chinese manufacturing sells machines cheap look good, better than many US products, just buy in lots of 25, don't wanna get stung!
You are dangerous! If you do not do research and have a reputable professional tattoo artist helping you do this project then you will be doing a grave disservice to the tattoo community, industry, and the poor customers you will work on, possibly having deadly results. The tattoo inks are completely different from painting inks and the wrong inks can cause blindness, liver failure, and possibly death as well as having scars from the rejection of the inks. There is no substitute for experience and knowledge, without those two things you have no business getting into the business. Tattooing is about ART not MONEY!
Tattooing ink is just simple synthetic dry pigments mixed usually dist. h2o -oh or glycerine, some are dangerous for all anyone knows. I now know for a fact, because I am a Chemical engineer(my undergrad. they use ethanol from supply houses= ethanol cannot be distilled to purity, know what that's called? Rest is taken out by various dehydration agents, currently co. used one that is toxic!, maybe glycerine all no natural pigments no cadmium so far as know, many metals, you have no idea what's the source of that goo? Any foriegn material pushed subcut. is askingfor trouble a life of it. Iron's okay, Titanium? Youv'e used it. The pigments themselves completely unregulated and never sterile.
You have no business tattooing. Your going to fuck someone up. I'd think twice buddy.Acrylic paint? Unimax? Chinese machines? Gimme a break. You obviously have no idea what you are doing.
