Attention Taz

Let me start out by first saying that while this is my first post on this forum I have "lurked" for some time now. Taz, you seem to be a fairly educated person when it comes to tattoos and I have seen some of the work that has come out of your shop. While I don't know if what I saw was in fact your work, I was very impressed none the less and have decided I want my first tattoo to be done by you. Where I live is quite a drive from Saint Joseph so I was hoping you could help me out via the forum (don't worry, I don't expect exact quotes or anything, just ideas) so I don't have to use a lot of gas just driving there to talk. Here's my idea. I am an avid player of World of Warcraft and such decided that my Tauren druid would be an apt first tattoo. I would like it to be a 3/4 back piece with his name Smoochies running across my shoulders. I would, however, like my characters beard to go on him (its very long and braided) and for him to be holding his staff in an aggressive stance. If that would prove to be impossible making it look like he is casting a nature spell (it looks like green magical energy circling his hands with leaves thrown in). If you can please offer a price quote, even if it is just an estimation.

First off thanks for asking me to do your Tattoo! I need to know what you consider a 3/4 back...another consideration is ...how big are you? male/female? Do you want any background scenery at all ...or do you want just the character or a full blown back piece? Isn't Hamilton just south of Cameron? I used to live right between Cameron and Hamilton (camelton!) and I seem to remember it being about 30 miles roughly so thats only 30 minutes or so Ok I will be waitin for your call!...TAz

Smoochies.... hey check this out, I'm getting my sleeves worked on by TAz...infact we are working on my left arm right now...Trust me it has been well worth it! Total custom and total kick ass! To Taz: I'm male, weigh about 160lbs and am around 6'3. I'm glad you mentioned wanting a background. It could very well be something I want to incorporate into the piece. Since I play a druid, maybe do a forest scene from the game or something. Definatly something I should and will consider. However you did ask I specify what I consider to be 3/4 back. In effect, I thought the name should go straight across my shoulders. Roughly an inch below the name is where the piece would start eventually ending around my waistline. I look forward to your reply! By the way, Hamilton is actually east of Cameron and it is roughly an hour drive to Saint Joseph. How long ago did you live in Cameron? I used to go there all the time, perhaps we have met.

Did you ever post pics of the work Taz is doing on you, J-Werk? Obviously you are very excited about it but I don't believe I ever noticed you posting pics. I would love to see this work in progress. Thank you for posting, also. By the way, J-Werk. Judging from your posts you seem fairly involved in the industry. I also noticed you mentioned WoW. Any tips or suggestions for my piece? I'm just trying to think of everything I can so I get the best art I can. Thank you!

I was only in the area for a few weeks...we lived in a farmhouse right between cameron and hamilton and that was 20 or more years ago.. Just give me a call at the shop and I will be happy to give you a quote man...and btw...everyone here at the shop but 2 of us are WOW addicts!! I'd love to do your tattoo...TAz
