I did check out the site you posted the url for and frankly, the work sucks and I'd think supports my suspicions about you. I do not know who you thought you were going to fool but I'm not one of 'em and I definitely know there is far better work coming out of Australia than your feeble attempts. If anyone thinks this 'unfair', check it out for yourself, review the posts and the site and the 'work' shown. This guy is a poser and an embarrassment to the profession, IMHO. Doc

to be honest with you dr dick...... i actually completed my apprenticeship about a year ago, and have since paid my dues and started my own studio with someone who has been in the industry longer than you claim to be.... the fact of the matter is that you sir are a fake, and i love the way you americans think tattooing is some secret society.(not all of you but most) ... and wanted to see the way in which you treated someone who wanted to ask stupid questions?? you see in australia there are no more than about 10 studio per state, ands its actually harder here to open a studio than in america, here you have to have the local goverment come through your studio and do check and criminal checks on all workers,artist and owners, and if you dont make it up to scracth (which laws are tougher than americas) you dont have a chance in hell in opening one... dont belive me check out the australian government websites on opening a studio...... so dr dick i leave you to another wanna be try hard insulting comment.... im sure youve got it in you, i just know your busting at the seems to try to prove me wrong lol stupid fuck

Ink-in-skin the moral of the story is to be careful about how you criticize others and their art. There will *always* be a lot of people who are way better than you. Hopefully there will always be more and more that arent as good. Bad ass tattoo artists rarely brag about how good their work is, they dont need to. and if your going to bash another artists body of work, yours better be very tight cause you then invite scrutiny. Also, just because someones portfolio isnt rock star quality does not mean their advice might not be spot on.

First off, Gabe, Thanks for the assistance and support. I did/do have a valid point here and I'm not simply being a prick but as previously explained, this guy is not only two-faced as hell, the work he is putting out it far below anything remotely 'professional ' by any sane standards, as I trust anyone but he would agree. While I do not even claim to be a 'rock star' tattoo artist, I do good and safe tattoos and have devoted over 40 years to this profession so when I see stuff like this, well, it literally makes my blood boil and compels me to expose the person for the fraud they are and the disrespect they are giving their victims as well as the profession. See, the problems with listening to people on the internet, the tattoos on that site are very bad, and should not happen under the proper supervision of an experienced talented artist (I hope!). As Ive said before, if people learn by trial and error on their own, they will have a lot of shitty tattoos out there with their name attached to it. If you scratch up the wrong person, you can bet on getting your ass kicked someday too... ha. But whatever... We are teaching our apprentice responsibly, others can hack on the public and complain and create more coverups...

And while I'm beginning to feel like I'm beating a dead horse, I would like to point out that if you check out the website this poser has up, you would notice the suspicious lack of any pics of his 'shop' and the lack of any posted address of same which further supports my belief he is merely another scratcher 'trying to pass'. If you bother to check out the entire site, you will also notice he states he has an $80 minimum and goes on and on about how rigid the laws are in Australia about opening a tattoo shop ( in an earlier post on this thread) I don't know if this guy is simply that stupid or if he thinks we all are but, as stated, I've seen thru it, which, again, is why I called him out on it in the first place. Nothing he has said since has done anything but make it worse for him, IMHO and, again, I'm really rather surprised there's been so little response to this.

holy shit - the stuff on that website for the original poster (ink-in-skin or whatever) is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE - It should be illegal for people like you to ruin peoples bodies like that. If you live in adelaide, I would avoid this dude like the plague. Hit up Body Art Shop for some quality work unlike the horrible mess this guy is putting out. Scary.
