baby footprints on feet

i've been wanting to get the footprints of my baby girl on feet in black and white but i wanted to see a picture of them first but cant find any.. does anyone know where i can find a picture at possibly? i feel like i've tried a dozen tattoo sites and cant find any

You may try distinct ink in Carson City Nevada...just google them...I know that was the fad when I was teher and we did bunches of them...and there may be pics of some on the site...What you will see is basically an exact copy of the childs footprint...not a lot of room for error there but they look really cool especially if you add the childs name in a fancy script!.,..TAz

Didn't they print your baby at birth? I mean, when I had my daughter, I got her feet and hand prints on a special piece of paper. I'd send you the prints of my daughter's feet, but they aren't that great haha. She was squirmy and they came out horrid. A google images search for "baby footprint" turned back a lot of results, not tattooed, but enough to bring in a resource. Another trick I learned from a friend to decide if the placement is right... get a charcoal pencil. Whenever we tried to decide if the tattoo we wanted was right for where we wanted it, we'd completely draw over the design (which will work well if you get black baby feet) with the charcoal pencil (a soft to medium hardness works best), flip it over and transfer the design to your foot. It'll give you an approximate idea of how your "feet" will look on your feet. Then, if you want, do it again and again until you get the placement just right, snap a pic, and bring it to your artist. It'll give them an even better idea of where you want it placed.

i've got my sons hand prints tattoo'd on my chest...i can mail you a pic if you want...i also have tatoo's on my feet and have had no probs with them..healing or with the ink 'falling out'!!! i am also thinking of having my new baby's feet tattoo'd somewhere on me but not sure where yet!!

I have my sons actualy footprint on me, not on my foot, but on my back, it was the first time my tattoo artist had ever done that before and he loved it, email me if you would like a pic.

I also have my babys footprints on my back. My tatto artist thought it was an awesome idea and it looks really cool. I have two daughters and one of each of their footprints on my back. I'm really glad I did it! I originally thought of shrinking them down a little bit so they weren't so big but when I got there and thought about it, whats the point in getting my daughters feet tattoed on my back if they're not going to be true to size?!?! I have a tattoo of footprints on my foot. But they arent anyone in particular's footprints. If you want a tattoo of your daughters footprints, then you could get an ink footprint from her and bring it into a parlor and have them draw it the best that they could. Otherwise let me know and I will take a picture of my footprints and send them to you. You might like them. They are just outlines of footprints in black ink. I love them

just go online and google footprint tattoos. a whole bunch will pop up.

Just make sure it's actual size so when they're growing up, you'll see how much they've grown... Kinda stupid if you go big.

I have my son's feet done on my arm. I recommend using hospital papers from his/her birth. Mine came out AWESOME and are an exact replica of the original. Email me for some pics. [email removed]

Can I ask what a typical cost is for 2 foot prints with some wording. I was quoted 200-250 today and didn't know if it was worth looking around. I am anxious to get my tattoo to honor my baby who died in utero in Feb saving his twin brother and monthers lives at that. Thanks for your time. Angy

Unless, it is very expensive in ur town for tattoo's I would keep loking. I just got a memorial Tattoo on my arm for my baby sister and it only cost me 100.. And it is fairly big for that price. My BF got on and it is on his chest its pretty big and it cost him 165 including color... So once again I would just shop around

U can go to the hospital the baby was born in and go to ask them if u can have a copy of the baby footprint

Hey I want my kids feet on my back he is now 2 and she is 7 months I'm going to have "steps" up my back one foot of him and one of her with their names and date of births in fancy writing not sure yet if under/ above or in the feet.. but yer great idea!!
