I had a cover up done 2 years ago that was ok, but not great. I didn't like the lettering, coloring around the tattoo and how one of the flowers were.
I went to an artist named Catra and talked to her about what I wanted. I wasn't looking for a cover up again, other than the lettering, the stem of a flower, and some bits of coloring around the tattoo. Problem is she really botched it. She covered over things she shouldn't have, and didn't do what she drew out on my arm. What we agreed on was one thing, and I got quite another. It looks more awful then when I walked in.
Question is, does anyone know of a really good artist in the lower mainland who can fix bad cover ups, and is willing to touch someone else's work?
I would do laser, but the shops owner hasn't returned my emails regarding my complaint/concerns... and I shouldn't have to pay thousands of dollars on my own to remove it.
I got jacked around badly. And this is no small piece, nor will it be easy to fix. It needs to be an artist with a lot of experience, creativity and who specializes in cover ups.
Thanks.

you need to go to Keystone South Dakota. to Keystone Tattoo co. talk to Mike Trike.221 Swanzee st Keystone South Dakota.
Mike has 30 years in the tattoo art world. He is a true master of Tattoo and coverups.if he cant fix it for you then i really have no idea who else can.
shoot me a e mail and i can give you further details and credentials on Mike. He is tops on cover ups for sure.
You could have easily said stop before she finished it or on your break if you took one..you should have inspected what was going on..now if you fell asleep and woke up with 100 stars on your face..then yes the shop should pay to have the tattoo removed but for you to say ther shop should pay for laser is completely ignorant of you. This is your own fault and you keep having people go over n over it..no matter how amazing of a cover up artist they may be..your gonna severley damage your skin in that area and it's just gonna look like poop.Good luck and next tattoo..say..May i see your portfolio?
I am the artist that tried tohelp this "jen" and i have some things to reply, first of all, "jen" put herself in at the end of my day when i said i would give her an hour and it wouldnt be finished. Second it was a cover up of a cover up and i explained to her what i could do and what i cant do.I also explained that there will be parts that could not be fixed. I drew on her skin and showed her in the mirror and let her look at the direction i was going in, she threw several ideas at me which i replied that i would have to have her back to draw it so we settled on a flower. When we were done she was excited about the piece and said thank you!!, i agreed since it would take longer i would cut her some slack and not charge her for the rest i would call it a touch up. "Jen", you did not give me ANY idea that you were happy, which you have a habit of doing with all your tattoos. YOu need to be honest with your artist when you get the tattoo, i NEVER get upset if someone is honest with me, and i always go thu steps to make sure my clients are happy. If you would have come to me, and said right away that this was not what you wanted i would have bent over backwards to make you happier. But you arent telling the whole story. Im sorry this happened to you and that is why you have not been helped.
Catra.
I think this person is hard to please and ungreatful never happy sad aint it..its not easy to do cover ups i dont like to..!
