Belly Dancers and Tattoos...

I just did an image search for belly dancers on Google, (Don't ask why, I'm a little rum and coke soaked right now) but guess what I noticed?? 1. Nearly all belly dancers are SMOKIN' hot. 2. NO Belly dancers had ANY TATTOOS AT ALL! Which leaves me with two questions: 1. Is there something about either Islam or Middle Eastern cultures that frowns upon the marking of one's body? Just curious why none of these beautiful women seem to have any tat's at all... 2. Is it probably just as well since the combination of these SMOKIN' hot performers with lower back tattoos would cause multiple cardiac arrests? No disrespect of ANY kind intended... Just seems interesting. Perhaps when I lose this buzz it will seem less interesting. But right now it's fascinating....

Al, check out this site Tribe.net, and then search for Sharon Kihara. My sister's a belly dancer, and she's got tattoos. She has said though, that a lot of the dance troupes want uniformity, and spend hours covering up their tats with cosmetics. TCE

Al...Al...Al, there are a lot of belly dancers that are very average and some are even moderately overweight. Well...a little belly pudge, perhaps not overweight. I think you must of found every smokin hot belly dancer in existence. I saw a few with tats on the website mentioned above. I think you have stars in your eyes darlin!!!
