Stop looking to buy your supplies off of ebay.
There are some great inks out there, personally, I wouldn't use either of those. And among the good inks, it really comes down to preference.
I agree with this gentleman, DON'T BUY FROM EBAY!!! You never know what you're going to get and you don't EVER want to put your customers at risk, whatsoever! I personally recommend Waverly or Unique, but I'm not shy about using Eternal's ink or even Mario's Intenze for some interesting color schemes for your work. The bottom line is this - personal preference. Try two colors of each brand and experiment with what you feel works best for you. Also, Dynamic has some killer yellows to choose from. Good luck!
star bright inks cut a little with cam or national inks but be careful and dont screw around some inks dont mix
newbie looking to get some info.... ok i'll lay it out for you... inks, like needles, power supplies, machines, and pretty much every other tool of the trade are personal preferences.
You will not get one answer from every artist. Each artist tests out a lot of inks before deciding which one he/she likes the best. But i can tell you that any respectable artist WILL NOT touch royal dragon ink. I did test out some Wizards (b/c if you do your research Massaro is a real supplier) but was not a fan of them, they were difficult to work with. You get what you pay for in this business if you buy cheap ink your tattoos will look cheap.
