I got my first tattoo nine days ago. I guess I was confused about how to care for it and ended up leaving it covered with seran wrap longer than I should have. I covered it for eight nights. Anyway, I don't have any pain, just a little tender but extremely itchy. It has been really itchy for about three or four days now. Last night, I noticed that most of my tattoo is raised and feels like little blisters all over, but none of them have popped yet. I'm not sure if it is infected or what is going on. What should I do?

I suggest you bring it to your tattoo artist and show him/her and tell them what happened. they will be able to tell you what you can do to help it heal better. As for being itchy thats commen, no worries there. best of luck

oh shit i forgot to tell you don't try to pop the blisters or scarcth your tattoo, just leave it alone until you show your artist. but you prob already know that
you might want to go to the doctor. sounds like something that happened to my co-worker. he always has a tough time healing so we tried the saran wrap method. he used it for 3 days straight changing it twice a day. around the time he was flaking he had little round red spots that looked like pimples but they didnt do anything except stay red and slightly raised. so he went to the doctor and found he had ring worm from the moisture which came from leaving the saranwrap on all day. he got some amoxicillin or something and the spots went away and his tattoo healed fine. lesson learned when rebanging fresh tattoos using saran wrap change it every 4 or so hours.
WELL, number 1, those lil blisters, just dont keep it as moist, they should go away in 2-3 days, number 2, the suran wrap is only meant to stay on for an hour or 2, then taken off to dry, no need to rebandage, it will heal without it, most of the time suran wrap causes more problems than anything else.
The same thing just happened to me the day after getting a tattoo, I went to the dr and it's shingles
