Bottom of the Foot?

i have a few tats but I want one on the bottom of my foot. is it an okay location I know some fade? Is the arch better then the balls of the feet, and how quickly can you walk? Any advice or experience would be awesome.

I got a tattoo on the top of my foot about 1 1/2 weeks ago... I couldn't wear socks or shoes for 1 week. It is still a little painful when I walk sometimes cause my shoes rub against it. I'd probably say that you shouldn't walk on it till the scab falls off. Oh... it's winter here in Australia and my feet froze for the whole week I was without shoes. Try to get it done in Summer. I tattoo'd the bottom of my wife's big toe recently, it turned out great but faded off over a period of time. As far as the pain issue, she said it wasn't too bad and she didn't have any trouble walkng on it. I don't know, maybe it's no sense no feeling :)
