Breast Tattoos?

6 messages · last activity 11/17/2005

I am considering getting a tattoo on my left breast, and I was wondering if this is a bad idea. I mean is there any specific risks to getting your breast tattooed, and will the tattoo be affected like, if I become pregnant someday? So if any one has any advice or knows anything about breast tattooes that I should know, the imput will help. Thanks!!
i got both of mine donw with no problms
I've seen tons of breast tattoos go with no problem. Well the pics looked fine. Not sure how the preggie stretchie thing will work out for you. Too many factors there. I know some tatts go wierdo if the person loses alot of wieght, but that's not the same thing. Just don't get it while your pregnant right? ;) Some breast cancer survivors have gotton some pretty cool work I know so I wouldn't fear any of it ....except the pain factor. Again, that's all you. Good luck
The only problem foreseeable is years down the road, the almighty sag. It happens to all people (your body can only defy gravity for so long). If you are going to go for it on the breast, opt for a desgn so that if it does stretch, it will still look acceptable (i.e. the old joke, a girl gets a rose on her breast when she's 25, so that when she's 65 it will be a long stemmed rose) The good news is that by the time this happens, your tattoo may also be aged enough so that going back in to fix or even cover it will not be as difficult as covering up someones Godsmack sun that they got 2 years ago.
I got a small tattoo on my left breast and all was fine with that, so fine in fact that i intend on having my right breast done for christmas.
I have both of my breasts tattooed and they are both fine. I cannot imagine what my breasts looked like before! :) As far as maintenance for the tattoos to prevent stretching to effect them, treat them the same way you would your stomach after giving birth. A lot of TLC and cocoa butter. Helps prevent stretch marks and helps the skin stay (and return to normal levels of) firm and supple.
