Burn on Tatto

3 messages · last activity 11/16/2005

I ended up burning my calf on my bikes muffler about a month ago. The burn was right on my tattoo and now that it is almost healed I can see that my tattoo looks faded in that area. I have a lot of color on my leg and the tattoo takes up the whole back of my calf, I am wondering what I should do. Should I get the whole thing redone or can they just redo the part that is faded. I figure if they only do the par that was faded then the rest of it will look faded. Cambece
yeah, i just burned my shoulder with my flat iron..and guess what happens to be right there? my star tattoo. damnit. i just put lubriderm on it right away. i dont know what else to do. argh, i'm pissed and worried about it now.
I've been keeping an eye on mine and it seems to be healing pretty good. It is not as bad as I though it was going to be, so I might put off getting it re-colored for another year or so. My burn was pretty bad to start with and is still healing, but no noticable scarring on the tatt iteself so I think I'm good. If you burned yourself with an iron you should be alright as long as you take care of it, but burns just seem to takes so long to heal. Cambece
