Can a person get ink on his nipple....

I have a question....i want to get a big chest piece and my nipple is coming in between my tattoo...i saw a person had nipple colored .... so i was wondering ...if its safe to get nipple inked... suggestions ..thanks

it's not really advisable, but the nipple itself should not be tattooed... I have seen the aeriola tattooed but i beleive the ink will bleed quite a bit. and if you can actually deal with the pain go for it.

how about different colorsss in the nipple.....coz the one is saw was totally BLACK and only black (it looks cool) .... so can i curious that color would SPREAD AND FADE and mess up my tattoo ....so any serious tattoo artist, or really expert or a person with a colored nipple can help.... coz is almost impossible to find someone with it......so i am really tensed about FADING or colors getting screwed up...so need help in the getting color nipple... thanks

by spreading i mean that the color will blow out like it does when tattoos get old... all ink fades over time, and the nipple is just a real hard place, the nerves running through there are why no one really tattoos them, it can be downright dangerous. i don't understand how just having your nipples not tattooed could interfere with your piece that much, especially if the artist had planned accordingly

Well in subject of this i have a tattoo in my nipple it was actually a ex girlfriend name with flames on it. I can tell you i have seen NO signs of it fading or bleeding out, I did however notice that when it was getting done it bled ALOT. Also i cna tell you that it hurt so bad that i would never reccomend it to anyone. NEVER I mean i cryed for a few hours cause it constantly hurt. I would not recommend it however if you think you can deal with it.. go for it. I can send you pictures of mine if you would like [email removed] email me and ill get them to you. Im telling you that this is something that hurts so bad that yo uwill want to quit in the middle of it. Very very bad pain.

You could excise you nipple, and graft skin over it, and then tattoo it. :D Some people get their nipples removed for yuks.

Hi, I have both my areola and nipples tattooed, I am a qualified permenant makeup practitioner (micropigmentation) I am female, I had a breast reduction and lost my pigment in areola, yes it is painful, infact I redid a top up today, for anyone who wants to know, what you must do is... Apply thick Emla anesthetic cream and apply a dressing on top for at leasr 1.5 hours, to numb, this helps to minimize pain, also between pigment passes apply tag 45 another numbing gel, during the procedure pain is only very slight, but after the cream wheres off (numbing effect) it becomes painful for approx 3 hours, tattooing of this nature requires top ups to keep colour vibrant, the whole of my arealo is tattooed up to the nipple, been doing this for 3 years, never had any problems, but I find that mine personally are best left dry, any ointments applied always makes my tattoo seep and can damage my healing, My tattoos need cleaning, dabbing a few hours later with water to remove dried pigment/blood residue so the scabbing isnt thicker than normal.... Go for it man, my nipples are tattooed. I mean who wants a gap in their art??? They don't take ink as well so your tattoo artist will have to spend a little extra time right there. It hurts pretty bad but not like your going to pass out. Not as bad as a scalp piece. The ink stays just fine, and it's worth it.

I have a large chest piece and hate the look when people leave circles around the nipples. Mine are both fully covered. It wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. Go for it. Pain is temporary, tattoos are forever.
