What is the best kind of ink to use? I have inkcraft ink, its that vivid colors ink, which stands out ok, but it is kinda blotchy no matter how much I go over it, does not seem to stand out.
Im not a fan of millenium ink, and have seen starbright and not a big fan either. The ink on my tats are just amazing, the color just glows no mater how dry my skin is. and that is the only reason I go to that tattoo shop.
I was thinking about getting Eternal ink but not to sure, dont want to buy ink if it is bad. Please Help
Colored Ink??

Sorry man but technical questions are not allowed here.
Kawasaki, excuse me but aren't you the same person who posted asking if Taz was looking for an apprentice on Jan. 22, now you're asking what is the best ink to use and mention you are using a brand I personally have never heard of. Aside from the fact that you
are seemingly tattooing against the law in St. Joseph, you should be aware that at least some of us are sharp enough to catch this crap and not at all inclined to assist you in doing so. Learn to do it right and safely, then your mentor will advise you as to the inks to use. Has anyone else ever heard of this 'inkcraft' ink?
That is stupid, and why the hell do you care what I am doing? Does not have anything to do with you. Are you a tattoo artist? How did you get into it? Were you lucky enough to find someone to teach you? Well bud im not so I have to figure it out all on my own. If you dont want to tell me the kind of inks that are the best fuckin dont, but dont come down on me with your bullshit about not tellin tech advice and shit. The only reason you wont is cause your scared of telling peeps what kind of ink you use cause it iwll take away from your busness.
That is selfish as hell man, so I guess I will buy every kind of ink to find out casue you guys are not nice enough to let me in on what kind of ink you like.
WTF is wrong with this world? Everyone is scared of there own god damn shadow to fucking help somoene else out. And what the hell is a tatto discussion board that you cant ask tech questions?
BTW I do have my damn license, I got my blood work done, and applied though the state, with that shit you have to get over the internet. I worked at a shop for a couple weeks then it closed down. Weather or not it was a good shop I did get my license so stop with the shit talking, I just want to learn more ass.
Kawasucki, kinda got you panties in a bunch, eh? Keep posting, asshole, the more you run your mouth the more you reveal about yourself and your respect for the profession. And, yes, I am a tattoo artist and yes, I did apprentice. As to your bullshit about being licenced, unless I'm mistaken, you cannot be licenced to work out of your home in your state, so IF you did have a license when you did your pissy little 2 week stint, I'm pretty sure the license ceased
being valid when the place closed. As to your saying you had your
'blood work done', what is THAT supposed to mean? If you meant you successfully completed bloodborne pathogens classes and cross contamination courses, at least learn how to use the proper terminology, fuckhead. You prissy little fucks that think the pros 'owe' it to you pretentious assholes give me a pain and as to your comment 'I just want to learn more ass.' with your attitude, I'd love to give you a few lessons.
Say what you want, but I would love to learn anything about art or tattoing in general. No knowone owes me anything. I respect any and all tattoo artist. The fact is I am never going to meet you and you me. Why try to be an ass? Either way I am though postin here.
If I pissed you off in any way I appoligize. Take care and good luck
Doc...to explain the blood work he was talking about...in this county the law requires that you be tested for any communicable disease before you are granted a license...and yes...in this county AND this state your tattoo license is only valid IF you are working in a licensed shop
Kawasaki, this is a PUBLIC forum with ANONYMOUS free access to 10 years old. this is not the place to exchange ideas about the technical aspects of tattooing, much like a dentists forum wouldnt talk about procedures with the public.
This bullshit about not being able to find out what inks are good without a forum on the internet. Go to a convention and get tattooed by an artists whos work you admire and their tattoos have the palette you are seeking. Show em your portfolio and ask their advice.
Lets see your artwork. I know some folks dont think it matters, but to me its all that matters. there are plenty of other qualities you need, but first and foremost you need to be a serious kick ass artist. Not everyone who is comfortable tattooing is greedy and keeping the pie to themself (though it may have been like that back in the day) mostly I find artists want to teach amazing artists the responsible way. And if your portfolio kicks ass and your willing to travel and get tattooed by the best you can find, then you will earn those opportunities.
Again, its all moot, this is an open public forum, please respect our wishes and chat about the zillion other aspects of tattooing and art there are...
thanks
That is how I like to be talked to. Tell me what I need to know, and not being an ass about it. You explained yourself very well and I respect that. Thanx
