I am in the process of planning for my next tat. I will have custom work done that is yet to be put into action. I want a fish (Pisces) put on my torso in a wrap-around position from back-to side- to front- before starting on paper I need to learn about what will work with my body shape and even enhance my contour-
Does anyone have any good online resources, books, or planning ideas about 3 dimensional line drawings that work with shapes- dos and donts etc? I am not so articulate with this subject and am not having much luck with getting info locally- so any help would be appreciated. It’s been hard for me to ask and have people understand exactly what I am talking about and that are willing to be honest, truth is critical and we all know that for sure…. this is why my own research will benefit me. Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks again,
Ellen

Hi Ellen this is TAz from Painted Angel Studios...If you can give me a really detailed description of what you want and where ya want it I will try to help...however your best bet is to seek out a competent custom tattoo artist and follow his/her advice..where do you live? maybe we can recommend someone!...TAz

There are a coupla guys on this site from Uptown Tattoo, and they are awesome. Check out our custom tattoo artist list and look for Tom Strom, Jon Sweet, and Nic Skrade. Adam Chido is also from the area and worth checking out. I imagine a consultation with any of those guys will set you on the right path.
