cost of tats

what defines the price of a tatoo?
Alot of things, first and foremost I think, is how the tattoo artist feels about you. That is, if you're a total dick you'll be charged the full and entirely retail price of a tattoo. Mostly if you're a nice person and respectful etc, the artist will probably be more willing to work with you on price, sitting for longer hours for no charge, free touch-ups, that sort of thing. If you're talking about technical aspects of cost, it's much like any other comission based artwork, with more overhead included (painters can paint anywhere, but tattoo artists need a sterile, attractive, high foot-traffic..you get the point) and then still the artist's feelings about you factor in. ahlyn
