Cover Up Work in or around NJ

Well here goes, I got my first tattoo when i was 16 after a real bad accident i got into. Its a chinese symbol (forget what they are called) and just like my mother told me....i regret it. Maybe i wouldnt regret it so bad if it wasnt so ugly. It was a black tattoo and well, you can see my skin through parts of it..its not really dark in any areas. I had it touched up by the same artist after it healed. And the same thing happened. Ive had 4 tattoos since so i doubt its my skin, it had to be the artist. My problem is i want it covered now, my friend became an artist here in jersey and i asked if he could cover it and he didnt want to. Since its on my forearm he said its a very visible area and he doesnt know if he could do it. I dont trust other people to cover it up. Thats all i need is for that to screwed up. I checked this site and found an Anthony Riccardo and i like his work...anyone heard of him? Or another tattoo artist around thats good at cover ups. I dont mind traveling for good work. Shit...itll be on me forever. Anyone have any suggestions? Im prolly looking to get a phoenix or a dragon....ya i know how original. But i really like the idea. Its going to be a big piece..possibly full sleeve. really whatever hasd to be done to cover this piece of trash thats been botheirng me for years. I dont even like to wear short sleeves because of this thing. And ive lived with it for almost 8 years. Its time...i have the money...Just need the artist. Thanks for the help Brandon

if you're in south jersey check out alex rivera @ under the gun (rt 41 in deptford nj). he did a very large cover-up piece on my brother's arm and it's beautiful. you can't even tell that it's a coverup. the original tattoo was about 3-4 inches long and 2 inches wide with black & red as the primary colors. jersey has a great amount of awesome artists, and there are talented artists in nearby delaware and philly if you're willing to travel a bit.
