so i no your supposed to cover everything that cant be thrown away, but whever i look in "tattoo" magazine over half the ppl dont have there machine covered. do they auoclave there machine after and can you do that or will it mess up the coils or wires?
Nope machines cannot be autoclaved...we ther is ONE machine that advertises that it can be but I have never tried it....I think most artists do cover their machines anymore...ya gotta remember that only a few short years ago we didn't even use gloves or bottle bags! But I highly suggest the use of machine bags...just one more little step towards safety plus it keeps your machines form gettin all gunky ya know?...TAz
after every tattoo i do. i use these anti bacterial wipes. Sani Cloth. Kills AIDS (which doesnt make sense to me considering its airborn life time) Kills Hep B. I wipe everything down. where the person sat, the knob on my power unit, and every where i can get on my machine. i dont take chances.
My wife covers everything: machince, spraybottles, and worktable
Don't forget the clipcord and powersupply as well as a host of others.
