New recent policy lets fire stations in Dallas submit a design/logo to represent the individualality that is unique to a Firehouse and specific area.
This policy was made to boost morale and create a bond among the Firefighters assigned to that station.
Those of us at 44's in south Dallas would surely appreciate any help. Your design and logo will "forever" be the identifier for DALLAS FIRE STATION 44. History: located south of Cotton Bowl/Fair park in Dallas, highest crime area in nation, built 1956. One Engine company and a Rescue Paramedic/MICU. We relish the fact station 44 has a high incidence of structure fires and runs involving shootings, stabbings, ect...bad.
The good folks in our district love us. We ask help for a design that would exult our pride, courage and history
The design tossed about: a bright full moon, wicked bat centered, flames behind bat wings, incorporate "SOUTH DALLAS 44" and "WE COME AT NIGHT" or similiar. Simplistic enough for patch or your ideas. Thanks, E-mail compensation/ideas etc..
