Damaging a Tattoo/Hari Removal

I have a freind who has a tattoo and a dog bit his arm and it cut his tattoo. Will that ever heal? And can you even get small cuts or scraps on tattoos? Does the depth of the cut matter or is a cut or scrap period going to damage your tattoos? Another question, I have used Veet hari removal cream on my arms in the past and it fucked my arms up. Has anyone ever used that stuff before or does anyone have any better solutions besides shaving?

ABOUT THAT CREAM SOME TIMES THESE CREAMS TAKE MORE THAN OTHERS TO REMOVE A TATTOO BUT TRULLY THE BEST WAY TO GET RID OF A UNWANTED TATTOO TO ME MAYBE NOT TO YOU IS TO HAVE A GOOD COVER UP FROM A GOOD ARTIST OR LASER REMOVE BUT THIS ONE HURTS MORE AND USUALY IT TAKES MORE THAN ONE VISIT SPECIALLY IF IS A COLOR TATTOO AND THE INK JOB IS WELL DONE AND ALSO I NOTICE THAT TATTOO USUALLY GIVES A DOCTOR MORE TROUBLE TO REMOVE IF IT HAS A LITE BLUE ON IT. THIS IS DUE TO THE FACT THAT THAT COLOR HAS MORE INGREDIENTS ON IT TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE IT DOES WELL AT LEAST THAT IS WHAT DR. I was actually refering to Hair removal options, I heard from someone up here that those creams leave scaring :(
