ANy help from either UK or American citizen would be appreciated greatly Cheers
Look for professional attitude...talk to his or her previous customers, establish that he/she is licensed, ask to see sterilization records, ask to see art work done by the artist who will be tattooing you, Ask to see actual tattoos he/she has done IN PERSON (photos can be stolen off the internet.Look for cleanliness...if his 'her shop is immaculate but he has dirt under his fingernails and smells a bit ripe RUN don't walk away.Ask where he/she learned to tattoo.Just a lot of common sense stuff but oh so important...btw ...If ya feel in any way uncomfortable or unsure DO NOT GET THE TATTOO DONE.......Check with the better business bureau in your area Remember....you are paying this person...you are entitled to repect and he'/she is also entitled to respect.
Look at the tattooers portfolio..A good artist will let his work speak for him..Notice what style of work they have in their portfolio...that's the style that they like to do best..When i see people with good work,i will go ask them where they got it done..Decide on what kind of style tattoo you wan't,and go to an artist who specializes in that style..if i wan't a portrait,i'm gonna go to an artist who does alot of realistic,or reproduction work..some sites to check out in england.. www.stevebyrnetattoo.com www.intoyoutattoo.com www.frithstreettattoo.co.uk www.templetatu.com www.thefamilybusinesstattoo.com www.elementztattoo.com www.jonnott.co.uk Jo,and [email removed]
