Hi there. I am looking to find an awesome design in memory of my dad who died suddenly in 1996. I was on the ambulance crew who responded as well. He was awesome and I'd like to get a tat in his memory. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks to all of you! Dawn

best advice, go to a custom artist and talk it out with them. they will design you a kick-ass, one of a kind piece that will represent your father better than any flash or pics you will find on here

I agree with Ducky, I went to a custom guy with an idea, and he came up with something better than I could have dreamed, and I'm an artist too. You've got a great topic, talk to a custom guy... let em do their magic!!

Dawn...I'm so sorry for your loss. Listen to the posts above...go to a custom artist and go prepared!...bring in some old pics...make a list of his favorite pastimes, his passions...his loves....a custom artist will fix you up!

Hey guys! Thanks for the advice you've given! I took a trip to Reno and after an hour of looking through everything they had available, I decided to have the artist create one for me. I decided that since my dad had a huge love for the ocean, was a veteran of the Coast Guard, and moreover, was the anchor of my family, I would ask him to design a dove taking flight carrying an anchor. It turned out great!!!! I appreciate all of your help!! Thank you so much, Dawn
