Dr Pogues Tattoo school unveiled!!!

Ok folks here it is.....pics of work from a graduate of the tattoo school in michigan....I was not even gonna do this but the little fucker who sent them to me is bein a real prick and saying that the work he sent was " award winning" and although I tried to be nice to the guy when I critiqued his tattoos the gloves are off now. This work absolutely SUCKS and if ya wanna see it I am gonna post all of them on photobucket if I get enough requests to see them on this forum. This dude is sayin he opened 3 shops a month after graduating this sham of a school and they do not even have a web site!.... So lemme know if ya wanna see em...they are so bad they are hilarious!!...TAz

Damn, those tattoos are, well, less than incredible. Just goes to show that many people can't tell the difference between a good tattoo and a bad one.

Yeah and this dude is sayin he grossed over a mil since he graduated from the good docs "tattoo school"! But he won't give us the name of his shops.....can you say PATHOLOGICAL LIAR? I thought ya could.......

DAMN looks like someone with parkinsons was tattooing. can you say shakey lines, and blow outs. and i won't even comment on that thing that looked similar to tribal. i would comment on the shading but didn't really see any. let all those that ask about tattoo schools see those pics. they'd change thier minds quick. if those tattoo win an award it's for WORST tattoo of the day.

Yeah Junk and after we told him ( in a very nice way) that his work could use a lot of improvement He copped deuces and said " oh those aren't really even mine, I just sent those because I knew you tattoonow people would say they sucked no matter how good they were."...I mean any idiot could see that some of them were from different artists! What a moron! But I will admit that I was e-mailed (just a minute ago) some pics by another guy who is a grad from Pogues school and his work was VERY good...I would like to show everybody but for some reason the man asked me not to share...This guy said he learned only the very bare essentials and the school was pretty much a sham. Anyway how the hell are ya pal?...TAz

I really love the "TattooNOW People" attitude. It is sooo wierd to hear folks talk about this clicke. Right from the beginning we we're working with talented hard working artists who always pushed themselves, but I never encountered any real attitude. I dunno, I dont really like meeting new people so I dont tend to be the most social guy (though I love to talk!). Certainly as we have grown the variety of artists we work with is very diverse. Indeed, many artists folks think are snobs who never return email I see as humble people with entirely too many people clamoring for their attention so only the most dedicated collector with truely unique ideas ends up getting through the uproar and getting in the chair... Im pretty proud of the artists that make up this site and what they do everyday (in reality and virtually), they are the reason I do what I do. I dunno, all people have to do to get involved is post on the messageboard, and when you think its worth it get a membership and start posting yer work to the galleries for folks to see. We do require a level of professionalism and cleanliness to do business with artists, but we dont make it a habit of turning people away or anything... As far as the school thing, it really is amazing how some people just wont learn. First we publish getting the perfect tattoo (soon!) then we work on "becoming the perfect tattoo artist". then we will all just talk politics because people wont have to ask the same questions over and over! :-)

DAMN I'm not usually one to bash anyones art because i've only been tattooing for a short time myself. But DAMMIT ANYWAY, that shit is busted as all hell. Obviously that tattoo 'school' isnt doing much for these guys. Theres no better way to learn than doing a good old fashioned apprenticeship. I've seen a dude at my shop who was apprenticed properly and came out of the gate tattooing better than the best piece thats come out of a "school". Lots of people think that we as tattooists think highly of ourselves, and many of us do. BUT we see shit like this every other day and we have to either fix it or cover it up. Most of us know the difference between good tattoos and bad ones, so when we try to tell people why tattoos like these are done badly they assume we're being high & mighty arrogant dickheads. Totally uncalled for.

ooh, those are just awful, i mean, tattooing is one thing, but you should probably have at least some basic Drawing 1 stuff down before you start hitting the needle. The rosary beads with the praying hands thing was just horrendous. Not to mention, why did it look like ALL the pictures were taken inside a house? That's peculiar...

i'm can't get over the fact that the "tribal" thing has almost no symetry anywhere on it....HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

....I mean, the least he/she coulda done was draw half, hold it up to the window and trace it the opposite way so it matches....HAHAHAHA
