Dragon Koi tattoo I want to finish sleeve

I just got outline of Dragon Koi, its a half sleeve right now - Koi fish transforming into dragon and its going up my arm to top of my shoulder, I want to finish the sleeve and I am not sure what would compliment as I need to fill in below my elbow/forearm, please any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I want to get this done asap!!

I would think that the artist who will be coloring it first of all can help you :)

So out of all of that conversation, anyone have any ideas for completing my dragon koi fish sleeve...??? LOL Yeah I am definetely going to ask my artist to give his input however I am kinda wanting to stick to the dragon koi fish story as well I just dont know what to get done...im itching to get the full sleeve asap and again unsure if I want to do full color or black and white....tattoo fiends help a brother out...!!!

What I am looking to do is to keep in "Chinese" oriented as I am half chinese...I have thought about having another Koi fish passing thru the Dragons Gate however im not quite sure...any suggestions would be greatly considered and if anyone has pictures that would be awesome too!!! P.S. This whole bashing going on in this thread is unnecessary, id rather come back to this website to find some suggestions not retarded conversations. You just had two ideas yourself :) 1. Another koi 2. Chinese aspect That's all you need. Im curious. Why havent you talked about this with the artist who is doing your tattoo and why hasnt that person coloured it yet?

Oh I have talked to my artist, I am just getting more ideas and input, I am just in the process of letting it heal as I got it like about 2 weeks go now, its healing good now so I should be in for another sitting ASAP hopefully, as far as color goes, I kinda want color as it would "POP" out more and be more detailed, but I do like black and white too...So I will most defintely get my artists opinion, I just want as many ideas I can to finish off sleeve and maybe incorporate everyones ideas in one and just have the "ULTIMATE DRAGON KOI" LOL . As I said before any suggestions would be considered.

I am getting a Koi fish and dragon sleeve. I currently have the dragon done on my upper arm and over my shoulder on to my chest. I chose to go colour in blue and yellow with red highlights. I hadn't planned on doing a sleeve but this turned out so good I couldn't let it stop there. I have just spoken with my tattooist and je has suggested a Koi fish on my forearm with some water and not too much more as you don't want it to be too busy. I would seriously think of colour, but that is just my opinion. Good luck with whatever you decide. If you have a good tattooist it will be alot easier.

maybe you can do a bottom half sleeve of flames since it is a dragon. have the koi tail come from your shoulder and down your bicep and have it transform into the dragon and when you reach your elbow have flames coming from its mouth onto your forearm. and for some coverup on the upper bicep you can add some water/waves,.
