Hey guys, I am just wondering what you all think of the Eikon Green Monster machines. I use Pulse, TedTed, Cain Roundback, Junebug, ect... I really like the machines that I use now, but I am always open to try new stuff. I have heard alot of guys that swear by them and buy the liner, shader, and coloring machines. I am just curious if it is a good investment if I already like the mahcines I already have? Or is it one of those things where I don't know what Im missing? Anyways, please let me know whats up.

Looks like a Paul Rogers machine to me.
Hey Hotspark, you ever have specials on any of your machines?
They're all special.I feel I already sell them at a very reasonable price.Be a little bit before I have any for sale, have to take care of some deals near home.
Any Hotspark machine is an incredible deal as it is.
Hotsparks for LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, I guess I didn't realize how much they cost.... I still don't know...
I think they start at $175 with shipping included
and once again no answer to the original post.
Well Ken I'd love to hear your take on the ol' Green Monster.....
i would love to be able to give the info on how the machine works how well it is built how well it holds tune the fit and so on but i do not work in a shop yet and as you now eikon will not sell to anyone that does not. what i meant by that post is that after your answer that it looks like a paul rodgers no one responded any further to the original post it got completly off track and pointed toward your machines . not disrespecting your machines because you have a lot of respect for your machines and more than enough people recomend your machines and have said how well they run and are built but like i said the person asked about that particular machine.
Ok heres the skinny on the green monsters!
Just heard from my pal Danny "Buddha" Binn an artist in LA, he got a liner and shader and built em and has been using them for a couple weeks now and, as we all pretty much knew anyway, he says they are decent, well thought out machines that are great for everyday tattooing...nothing special...just good machines at a decent price. If you know what you are doing they are about as good as anything out there!
We all knew that Eikon wouldn't put out crap so there ya go1
thats what i like about ya taz a decent answer to a simple question it just gets a little frustrating when you read a post for subject content it goes off tracking to something else.
No offense Ken, but the LeftDark is the one who decided to deviate from his topic and ask about hotsparks machines. but i personally wasnt suprised at the lack of feedback for this green monster. from the lack of response on them here and over on tattooconnect just leads me to believe that not enough people are using them yet. Oh well at least Taz saved the day. Im telling you man you need a jumpsuit with a big T emblazoned on it underneath your clothes at all times. only problem is that weve apparantly abolished phone booths for some reason. and to end on topic. I agree with Hotspark. they look like green paul rogers frames to me too.
yes i know he but i meant in general when you read the name on a topic and there is 15 replies and only one on that subject. and no offence taken.but it is kind of like someone telling a joke and leaving before they tell you the punchline.
It can get frustrating...I know what ya mean...on this forum and on tattooconnect...thats just us humans...we have a short attention span...hell I do it myself all the time without meaning to I start talking about somethimg else...but fuck its all communication and if we get sidetracked just pull us back in man!!
I don't own it but I've used many machines in my life and built a bunch too and I can tell you that as far as what I can see on the picture I don't think they are anything difference from what a average decent machine can do.
One thing I've heard is that they run soft, but again thats a feedback from a friend only.
The machine seems to be light with a simple geometry. Coils are coils, an abar is just an abar, we all know the good about the diff gauges of eikon's springs....as far as tru-spring abar goes, I tried it and really didn't like it after a while, they are too much of a frankenstain IMO. Despite the fact that now you are adding an extra screw and washer to the abar...
I guess what Eikon tried to do is to put their missing link (a machine) on their catalog. Don't see the have put much thought about it, simple and ugly looking machine. No need to re invent what already has been invented and it's working great.
I am sure it runs good, but thats about it. Now, I could be the whole day giving soild feedback on workhorse machines, pulse, next gen which is pretty much what I use.
