F%#&IN' LAZERS!!

Holy Hell I just had a little lazer tattoo removal done on my shoulder an i gotta say that was the most excrutiating pain i have ever felt. Any one who says that shit doesnt hurt is lyin' through their teeth, Jack cuz that mess KILLS!! There are way too many kids out there who are impatient about getting tattooed and think they are 'much more mature' than the next kid or 'really mature for their age'. Thats great and all but we all thought that when we were coming up because its just a part of the adolescent mindset. Some probably are but if they're that mature, they'll wait for it like everyone else. But i digress. Lazer treatment is fuckin' painful. If you dont want to have to do that or be forced to cover your tattoo with something big and crazy that you really dont want, then wait for it and do your research. I had this tattoo done a couple of years ago and i thought i knew what i wanted and had it all figured out. Now that i'm deeper into the industry and have met tons of fantastic artists, not to mention been tattooed by them, my old tattoos are just looking out of place. Time to get zapped! Cover-ups are great and everything and Lord knows i like doing a cool cover-up, but if you dont have to go through that stress, avoid it from the get-go. It just aint worth the pain. Lazer removal literally hurts 10 times worse than getting the tattoo put on, ask anyone. But it doesnt have to be an option for you. All you little teenagers who just have to get tattooed like tommorrow because "Its my skin and i can do whatever i want with it, Fuck anyone who tries to tell me otherwise"... Go right ahead. Get your tattoos. When covering those wonderful ideas later on in life isnt an option because your tattoo is too dark or scarred real good and deep, remember what everyone tried to tell you. There are enough old timers (myself not included) on this forum that try to help young kids from making bad descisions with their skin, but not enough kids that are willing to listen.
i hear you mario. i had a few small things lighted enough to get covered. there were about 4-5 treatments over a years period and like i said the pieces were small so it was about 15 minutes of laser time each visit. it hurt like fuck. way more then getting tattooed kind of like frying bacon and having the grease land on you every 1/2 second. i always like when i tell someone that they might want to think about their idea and they come back with i could always get it lasered. shows what a disposable consumerist society we are. the thing is they dont realize the time, pain, & money involved with getting a piece lasered yet theyll make that quick decision to just get something.
You mean like a spot welder? Dudes, that don't hurt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, sorry, that was my inner 14 year old talking. TCE
here here! how's your shoulder Mario? I got zapped a bit this weekend too. A thick band around my bicep, it swelled up so much that my arm was twice as big around. And now due to gravity, a lot of that swelling has drained into my forearm. Really not very comfortable, although I'd have to say Jack was less painful and faster than the last person I went to and I'm blistering much less too. So yeah I'm not back what you said about doing you research, cause damn lasers suck.
"I'm going to back what you said" --I'm and idiot
