Favorite Black Shading Ink?

I'm not looking for product testimonials from advertising execs or newbies. We (professionals) all have our favorites, I'm looking for the absolute blackest, smoothest working pigment around. Traditional pigments have the tendacy to blue and we all know how unfashionable that is these days. Tribals have grown like a cancer spreading to all ends of the world, often requiring hours upon hours of the mind dulling task which plagues artists from Tucson to Tahiti. Is there an end in sight? Forgive my negativity, but I know that some of you can relate on some level. I would greatly appreciate your input (on the pigment).

There are many ways to blend inks to come across a very smooth and deep black, unfortunantly I'm to sloshed to remember. ( I'm not giving up my secrets) experiment with different ink types, even colors and porportions untill you are satisfied. You will have to work this one.
