Few Questions & Thoughts

4 messages · last activity 8/28/2005

I've been planning for my first tat and I know pretty much what I want. It will be a phoenix with tribal styling, found some flash art for one I like. Anyways I'm struggling to decide where to put it. I was thinking my right forearm or right calf. Thoughts? I'm just not sure I always want to it to visible. Any other ideas for a good position? Also since I am in central MA, I was looking around for artists and it seems that Redemption in cambridge has a good rep. Thoughts on them or recommendations on someone else in the MA area? Thanks
How about on your shoulder blade..check out cobracustomtattoo.com And Tegan,@lightwavetattoos.com
Depends on what style of pheonix you want. The Boston Tattoo Convention is coming up in september, and we're bringing in some national talent. You can get an amazing pheonix in a bunch of different styles. The redemption guys will be there, there are excellent traditional asian and american tattoo artists. Dan Henk and his wife Monica are more dark/realiasticy artists. Dee Dee and Lou Jacque are working the TattooNOW booths and do amazing color tattoos. Cory Kruger is also an amazing color guy. Jeff Ensignmer will also be traveling in from Texas. Tony Ciavarro and Dean Brocket are crazy color guys will be there from Stinky Monkey Tattoo a little outside Boston. Check out the site and look at lots of tattoos, loads of good folks will be there! Couldnt hurt to email em before the show, though, last year there was line out the door!
Unfortunately I probably cant make the convention, I'll be back in college. But I was thinking of something like this: http://www.bullseyetattoos.com/ProductImages/ss/SS0001p.jpg Not sure if the calf would be good or the shoulder, but my shoulders are a bit boney lol.
