So since the topic of underage tattoos and getting first tattoos comes up so often, I thought it might be a rad idea for all of us to talk about our first tattoo, how old we were when we got it, and whether or not we still like it, or even still have it, and if it's something we would do now if we didn't already have it. Maybe this will give people more insight on getting tattoos at a young age vs older.
Here we go!
Age: 18
Tattoo: Kanji on my foot
Current Status: Still there, but pretty much incorporated into another piece. I had the option of covering it up when I did the larger piece on my foot, but pretty much opted to keep it for the sentimental value of being my first tattoo.
Would I do it now: Definitely not. Not my style anymore, but like I said I keep it around to be nostalgic.

First tattoo: Elephant and egg on left hip
Age: 19
Still have it/like it?: Yes. I got it to celebrate surviving ovarian cancer, so it's very special to me.
First tattoo I got was a dove on my ankle when I was 17. I couldnt afford the parrot. A few years later I incorporated (instead of covering) it into a larger leg piece cause it was my first tattoo, and even though it was crappy it was my first. Now Im getting all that shit lasered off, I remember my stupid past enough, time to get the shit off me and have only bad ass tattoos, lifes too short to have crap on your skin! Er, in my opinion.
my first was a skull on my forearm when i was 14. (20 years ago). I DID IT MYSELF WITH A SEWING NEEDLE. IT LOOKS LIKE A CAN OF SMASHED ASSHOLES, BUT I CAN'T BRING MYSELF TO GET IT COVERED UP! damn caps lock.
My first tattoo was on my 18th b-day and was of an angel with a couple of kanji that I don't even remember the meaning of. Its now a big skull with a snake and bamboo. Got that stupid angel for a chick I was with at the time. Man, that was a bad move. Oh well, both are gone now and I couldn't be happier with the results. :)
