first tattoo

i am 16years old, and i will be 17 shorty. for my first tattoo i want to get jesus on the cross. i want to get it on my back, and get it about 6 or 7 inches tall, and about 3 inches at its widest point. My mom will be buying it for me as a gift (in ontario you can get a tattoo done at 16 with parental concent) and she is curious how much it will cost. i am aware that its impossible to determine that as prices change all over, so any1 who could estimat ehow much that would cost would be really helpful.(american price will do) the cross is fairly detailed, and only black (lots of shading)

Go visit shop's in your town with what u wan't to get.Most places charge about 100 to 150 hr..Rob Coutts does nice work..www.bobbyfive.com and www.scottmcewantattoos.com is agood shop,because all the artists are good tattooers..And u also have.www.kingoffools.com Just look at portfolios,and choose an artist that's good with black n grey work..
