Forearm

I got a tattoo yesterday half a sleeve below my elbow to my wrist...it took about 3 to 4 hours...I barely had swelling toward the end of the session but today my entire forearm is swollen...should I be worried

Swelling of a tattooed area is very common. The inside of the forearm is particularly prone to it. I have tattoos on the inside of both forearms, both went up like balloons for almost a week. So it's most probably OK. If it is still swollen in a weeks time, see the doctor.

Hi Bimmerman, did the swelling of your Forearm tattoo go down OK? How long did it take to heal? If you had 3-4 hrs of work done, it's hardly surprising it swelled up.I have just got some major touch-up work done on a tattoo on ithe iside of my left forearm, and my arm already looks like Popeye's ! It's also very tender.
