George (Doc) Webb

If anyone can tell me where I can find information about Doc Webb the tattoo artist that worked in Calif. in the 40's and 50's. It would be appreciated.
Skin and Ink recently ran an article by Bob Shaw about Doc Webb. Theres also some books around. Heres a link to a google search.
He was my grandfather. What TRUE things do you want to know?

I have a Doc Webb tattoo that I got in San Diego in 1968. It is a WWI Navy poster girl. I was not drunk, and it hurt.! Doc Webb told me in a gruff voice, "do you want to look stupid [half done tattoo}...kid bite on this stick." If I remember correctly it cost $10. His shop was located on a side street off the main drag in San Diego..
