Hey guys just seeing if anyone knows any information on getting tattooed on the foot more so in the big toe region. I was wondering when is the best time of year to get one, about the healing process, and any other imporatnt things to know before reciveing a tattoo. I am not too worried about the pain but hear that it is one of the more painful places to get a tat, any confirmation would be great.Thank alot, I appreciate any info given.

the best time to get a foot or toe tattoo is warm weather when you can go without shoes.
if you wear a shoe on it then it will fade bad.
i do alot of feet but do not guarentee it, because they will fade if you wear shoes or socks in the first 2 weeks.
yes i gave my wife a tat on her foot, it was winter and the ink did not stay well...u have got to be able to wear flip flops or open toed shoes.. so summer would probably be the best time
However, in the warmer months, if you're going to try the flip flop thing or barefoot, keep in mind that your tattoo is exposed to all the dirt on the ground right next to it, infections can be a little bit more frequent. Realistically, some people can hold foot tattoos great and others skin just isn't able to do so.
All good advice. Let me add, NEVER get the BOTTOM or your feet...nor palms...These will NEVER last. I am sure they are commenting on Upper feet only.
