Getting a Design

I AM GETTING A TATTOO VERY SOON, SO I HAD MY FRIEND SKETCH ME UP A DESIGN. I TOLD HER WHAT I WANTED AND I THINK SHE DID A GOOD JOB, BUT SHE IS NOT A TATTOO ARTIST. I WAS WONDERING IF THERE WAS ANY WEBSITE THAT I COULD SEND IN THE PIC OF THE TAT AND THEY COULD SKETCH UP SOME IDEAS AND SEND BACK TO ME. I KNOW I COULD JUST GO TO ANY TATTOO PARLOR AND GET IT. BUT A LOT OF PLACES AROUND ME MAKE U PAY FOR THEM. HELP ME OUT, PLEASE.

So what you are saying is that you want an artist to spend his/her time doing YOUR art for YOUR tattoo for FREE simply because you are too damn cheap to pay for the work? Does your mechanic work on your car for free?Does your plumber do it for free?Do you work for free at your job? Get a life!!

if your friend drew u up a design and u like it, why dont u just use it? it doesnt have to be drawin by a tattoo artist to become a tattoo! and they shouldnt need to sketch it up if its already as u like it and the right size! just take it with u when u go to book the appointment to get it done

However if it was not drawn up by a tattoo artist odds are that the tattoo artist will have to modify it to some extent to make it work as a tattoo. Go to a tattoo artist and PAY them. There ain't no such thing as a free lunch there Sparky!

Yea I think that your best bet is to take your pic to a professional. It will turn out better. If you want something done right you gotta pay that money honey.
