Getting a tattoo???

Hi, i was just wondering if any of you have some advice for me; hers the deal im over 18 and still have quite a good relationship with my parents (meaning i dont hate them) and i want to find a good way to tell tham that im getting a tattoo just so it wont be a shock when they see it. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated! thanks!
