Gooey tattoo

I got a tattoo on the top of my foot on Friday...it is now thursday and it is still gooey, but only in the pink part, the black seems to look like it is healing well. I have been only putting a thin layer of A&D ointment on it when it begins to look dry and it just oozes again. I have 11 tattoos and I have never had something like this happen before so I am a little concerned, I usually just applied lotion....any suggestions

i had the same thing happen 3 years ago top of foot thought it was infected or getting messed up it took a while to heal but once it did it was fine. i have over 25 of them and that was my worst one healing it must have something to do with a thin layer of skin?
