I feel great. Didnt really hurt at all, and i DEFINATELY want more. Im already starting to plan out others for later =P.

I mean, c'mon, what are we comparing this pain to, having a splinter removed? You had half a lung removed? A tattoo on your taint couldn't compare to that. Dave, Congratulations! bullshit man, there's no pain in getting a tattoo? Try gettin an elbow piece buddy, fuckin' kills... Ontop of that, over the spine is painful as hell...And so is on the ribs or the side... Other than that, yeah, everything is more annoying then painful, but still, you want pain? Get an elbow piece done or somethin on your ribs... Myself, have a high tolerance for pain but that shit is just torture...Its not "unbarable" but in the end, still f'in hurts...

All this talk about tattoos not hurting is bull. i got tattoos all over including my ribs and that didn't tickle. they don't hurt as bad as people think but lets be honest. alot of tattoo artist i know hate get tattoos because of the pain, and there not some joe shmo artists. later

I didn't say it felt good, or tickled!! But relative to things most people are going to deal with at some point in their lives, and probably with no say in the matter, the tattoo's on areas of the body that most people get are just not a big deal. Minor arthroscopic surgeries hurt a hell of a lot more than a fucking tattoo. I've had 20 hours of tattooing done on both of my feet, and it doesnt' even compare to the pain of a very minor rattlesnake bite I suffered some time back. At that time, the only way I could describe it was, it's the kind of pain you can't imagine, and you probably won't remember. In fact, the fucked up healing from the most recent session has been far more agonizing than the hours in the chair. But whatever, if you have to go to the extreme to find the pain, then you're just looking for validation. Maybe the elbow hurts, I don't know. But everywhere else on the arm is fucking laughable at best. TAz, I'm sure a tattoo on your dick will hurt, and that's probably why it's the last place guys who are tatted out opt for. I'm not doing it for the pain factor. The pain is very temporary, and incidental to the art, which is forever. TCE

Listen playa, I don't wanna come off like a tough guy, but there's pain and then there's pain. I'm not saying it tickles either, but it aint in the same world as some other shit I've been through in my life. The lung removal was a good start. There are little kids laying in children's hospitals right now with burns over 75% of their bodies who have their skin scrubbed off every fucking day. Those little kids make a pussy out of you and your "ow it hurts". Those little kids would take that penis spider like a man and laugh at you playa. There's pain, and then there's pain. Fuck me? Fine. But in my book, tattoos don't hurt. Always remember this and never forget. There are people right now in the world that would give anything to be experiencing the level of pain that you and I experience every day. Something to think about. When you put it like that? I'm humble and grateful. I didn't feel it at all.

And back to where I began........................If some newbie is asking about the pain, and seems nervous, it just helps to put them at ease by laying out some perspective as to what we're really dealing with here. Pain that is skin deep, not busted bones and ruptured guts. People who pass out at the mere sight of a needle might want to think twice before getting puntured at an average rate of, what, 4000 per minute. Not because it really hurts, but because it is their perception that it is going to hurt, and when the work begins, it probably WILL hurt.
