I have a local artist that I want to work with on my first tattoo. The problem is, I'm having trouble describing exactly what I want and I'd like a picture to show her for some reference. What I'm looking to do is have a tattoo that makes it appear as if an object is embedded under my skin. I know that it wont be 'realistic', but I can't describe the shading well. If someone knows where a picture of something like that (maybe even just something partially embedded), could be found, I would be most appreciative. -Me
Taz, didn't we look at someone's website or myspace site that did a tattoo that looked like there was a chain under the person's skin? I think that is what this person is looking for.....J
Ohhhh! He had a very foreign sounding name...does AMAZING black and grey.....having a moment......
Got it!!!! Anil Gupta. Check out his site www.inklinestudio.com Look at his portfolio link. I think what you are trying to describe to your artist you will be able to find there. BEst of luck and let us know how it turns out! Hope this helps!.....J
Wow, He does do nice work. Is this the image you were thinking of? I think I found the image you were thinking of, and it does give a nice start. I'm looking to have the appearance of a plate, with rivets, under the skin on my chest, with no part of it revealed. When I get it, I will submit a picture (or, whatever follows the proper policies for sharing that sort of thing). -Me
Self proofing has never been a strong suit, sorry for the confusing first paragraph.
