Hawaii's expense

6 messages · last activity 11/16/2005

Is it true that its more expensive to get a tattoo in Hawaii than say in the states? my friend said that it would run me about 300 for a 2.5" by 6" black panther. does that sound right?
go see www.paragontat2.com or 808tattoo.com i doubt if it's more expensive..From my experience getting tattooed,i've paid 100 to 150 an hr.I doubt if it will be more than that..
Yes, definitely go see DJ Minor at Paragon, not only will his price be fair, but I know for a fact that you'll be happy with the tattoo and his shop is clean and sterile.
Judging by Dj Minor's portfolio, he definitely does clean and solid work. And if your out in Hawaii, i would definitely reccomend looking into Mike Ledger- does extremely good work. His site is www.mikeledgerinc.com I would give a call because he works by appt. only and i assume has a waiting list. Good luck and dont worry about the cash, an extra hundrd bucks or 2 can make all the difference in your peice.
The price of tattoos in Hawaii is the same as any state, just like in any state tourist traps like Waikiki are gonna be outrageous...some shops take advantage of people, unfortunatley, but it happens...as far as coming out here to Hawaii to get tattooed...if its just a tattoo to remeber your trip, pre plan...your gonna want to get tattooed when there isnt a chance of sun or water exposure...Call ahead if you want Mike Ledger to ink on you..he is strictly appointment...there are plenty of good shops in the area, just steer clear of touristy shops.
Hawaii is in the states Tard. It's just not on the mainland.
